Love

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no records of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perserveres.
Love never fails.

God

 God
is the best listener, you don't
need to shout, nor cry out
loud. Because He hears even
the very silent prayer of a
sincere heart.

Quotes

" Never hurt anyone in your life.

Throw a stone up in the sky
and it has to come back to you
again.

Remember the world is round,
what goes around comes around.

Time changes with the blink of
and eye...
People change, what doesn't
change are the sweet
memories spent with them."

Greatest Gift

The greatest gift you can give
someone is your time,
because when you are
giving someone your time,
you are giving them a
portion of your life that
you will never get back

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a night of
song that wrapped itself about
you like a shawl.
But it warmed more than your body.
It warmed your heart...
filled it, too, with a melody
that would last forever.

El Niño Jesus │ A Very Special Holiday Presentation

In this very special edition of  The Aurora Angels, I am presenting Tony Croatto's magnificent composition, "El Niño Jesus".  This song tells the story of the Boy Jesus visiting a party on Christmas Eve, playing his maracas.  At first He is rejected by the party-goers, but His true self is finally recognized, and He is accepted by them, and brought into the festivities.  It is a very moving story.  Tony Croatto, who was originally from Italy, made quite a name for himself in Puerto Rico, as an aficionado and promoter of Jibaro music. Tony Croatto passed away in Puerto Rico on April 3, 2005.  Please click on the video widgets below to watch three different videos of "El Niño Jesus".  The top-most video of Tony Croatto singing "El Niño Jesus" is extremely rare, and I had a very difficult time finding it on the internet.  The version of "El Niño Jesus" on the very bottom is sung by the great José Feliciano.  Please click on this link to purchase an MP3 of José Feliciano's version of "El Niño Jesus" from Amazon.com:  El Niño Jesus - José Feliciano

Bedtime For Sniffles │ A Christmas Tale

In this edition of The Aurora Angels, we are featuring an incredibly cute Christmas Eve cartoon called "Bedtime For Sniffles".  Sniffles tries to stay up late on Christmas Eve so that he can get a glimpse of Santa Claus, and the results of this are charming to say the least.  Unfortunately, Sniffles has vanished from the world of cartoons.  He was first created in 1939 by animator Chuck Jones, and very few cartoon shorts of Sniffles were ever made or released.  Sniffles has always been one of my all-time favorite cartoon characters.

Angelic Choir Boys From Spain

Los Chicos de la Escolanía, from the Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo, is a very special choral group from Spain.  In 1995 they had an international hit with the song "Nirvana".  They also had a very unique sound then, that was sort of a cross between Enigma, and Hildegard Von Bingen.  At that time they were known collectively as Elbosco.  There are three things that we have in common with Heaven while we are still here on Earth.  They are Light, Love, and Music.  Los Chicos de la Escolanía possesses all three in great abundance.  It is interesting to note that the Los Chicos de la Escolania choir is comprised of young men between the ages of nine and fourteen, and they all live in The Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo (located North of Madrid).  The monastery was built in the 16th century by Fillip II, when Spain was considered one of the greatest and most powerful empires on Earth.  Astrologers, sorcerers, physicians and architects sought out the monastery as a supremely magical and strategic location.  The Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo has a cool website that can be found at this link:  Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo - Official Website  In this edition of The Aurora Angels we are featuring Los Chicos de la Escolanía singing "The Flower Duet (Sous le dôme épais)", from Léo Delibes' haunting, and mystical opera, "Lakmé".  This song has been featured in many movies, and television commercials.

Christmas Canon │ An Angelic Meditation

This has to be the most beautiful setting ever for Pachelbel's "Canon in D".  The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, augmented by the angelic voices of a children's choir, have created a modern day holiday masterpiece with the "Christmas Canon".  Just when you thought that you had heard all the Christmas songs in the world, along comes something marvelous, and special like the "Christmas Canon".  It is from an album called "The Christmas Attic".  Please click on this link to purchase an MP3 of the "Christmas Canon" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra from Amazon.com:  Christmas Canon - Trans-Siberian Orchestra  In this edition of The Aurora Angels we invite you to experience the "Christmas Canon".

If You

If you were a bird how high would you fly?
If you were a fish how deep would you swim?
If you were a horse how fast would you run?
And if you were ALIVE how passionately would you live?
...be grateful for the gift that was given to you and live everyday with PASSION...

Silent Night │ Jackie Evancho

In this edition of The Aurora Angels we are featuring the angelic voice of Jackie Evancho singing the beautiful "Silent Night".

The Christmas Shoes

In this edition of The Aurora Angels we are featuring a remarkable video called "The Christmas Shoes".  What can I say about "The Christmas Shoes" without sounding banal or trite?  It is very moving, and fills the soul with deep sentiment.  "The Christmas Shoes" is the perfect Christmas story.  My Dear Brother and I found it on the internet this past Christmas, and we could not stop crying after watching it, and we watched it over, and over again.  The Christian musical group NewSong originally released "The Christmas Shoes" in 2000, and since then it has grown in popularity to become a  perennial favorite for the holidays.  There are many video versions of "The Christmas Shoes", but this one is the best by far.  The soundtrack contains the original NewSong version of "The Christmas Shoes".  The MP3 of "The Christmas Shoes" by NewSong  can be purchased from this Amazon.com link:  The Christmas Shoes - NewSong   My Dear Brother and I felt that because of the way things are going in the world today, we all need something to pick us up, and remind us that the greatest gift of all, is the gift of sharing.  May The Peace And Love Of Pure Angel Light, Bless, And Keep All Of You Safe and Warm.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas And  A Happy New Year From The Aurora Angels

Candy Cane

Do you know what a "Candy Cane" really is? Many years ago a candy maker wanted to make candy that would symbolize the true meaning of Christmas, which is "Jesus". The hard candy was shaped like a "J" to represent that Jesus is our rock of all ages. The candy was white, which stands for the pureness of Jesus, and the red represents the blood that Jesus shed to save us from our sins. So the next time you see a candy cane, take a minute to remember the real meaning of " Christmas".

Dear God

Dear God
I want to take a
minute not to ask
for anything from you.
But simply to say.
Thank you.
For all I have.

If

If I have freedom in my love.
And in my soul am free.
Angels alone that soar above.
Enjoy such liberty.

A Strong Woman

 A Strong Woman
is one who feels deeply
and loves fiercely
Her tears flow just as abundently
as her laughter...

A Strong Woman
is both soft and powerful
She is both practical and spiritual...

A Strong Woman
in her essence
is a gift to the world...
